Day 1 : Arrival Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be met and assisted by our company representative. After traditional welcome we transfer you to hotel. Rest of the time is free to relax from long flight journey. Overnight at hotel

Day 2 : IN DELHI

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of New and Old Delhi. Start from Red Fort (Closed on Monday) built in red sandstone, Constructed by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque and enjoy the rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid in labyrinth of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi for an hour & half and visit the crowded Spice Market of Delhi by 300 meters walk. Later return to rickshaws & end the ride at same place where they boarded the rickshaws. Later visit Rajghat Cremation place of Mahatma Gandhi. India Gate built in memory of the soldiers who laid down their lives in the 1st World War drive past the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, Parliament House, the other government buildings also visit Humayun’s Tomb the mausoleum of emperor Humayun’s & Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple (Bahai temple). In the evening visit Gurudawara Bangla Sahib – the Sikh temple. Overnight at hotel

Day 3 : DELHI – SRINAGAR ( By Flight )

We transfer you to the domestic terminal for the spectacular flight over the Himalaya to Srinagar. Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be met and transferred to Houseboat. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at houseboat

Day 4 : IN SRINAGAR

In the morning enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting interesting floating vegetable & flower bazaar and Char Chinari floating garden. Later in morning proceed for city tour of Mughal Gardens tour visiting Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asaf Jah in 1636 AD, Shamilar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his beloved Nur Jahan in 1619 AD. Chashme Shahi , a beautiful garden, the smallest among the famous Mughal gardens, founded in 1632 that has a length of 108 meters and breadth of 38 meters. Pari Mahal (Palace) also known as Quntilon is a historic monument overseeing the beautiful Chashme Shahi Gardens. This ancient monument brings out the architectural brilliance of the fore gone eras. A well-laid spacious garden surrounds this structure, which was once a Buddhist monastery and later served as a school of astrology promoted by the eldest son of Shah Jahan, Dara Shikoh. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at Houseboat

Day 5 : IN SRINAGAR

After breakfast, proceed for city tour of old city visiting Jamia Masjid, Shah Hamdan mosque, Srinagar Museum and also enjoy walking through the narrow lane and by lane of old town. Later in the afternoon, visit Shankaracharya temple a beautiful Shiva temple situated on a picturesque location on the Gopadari Hill at a height of 1100 feet above the Srinagar city. The name of the Temple is after the great philosopher Shankaracharya who visited the valley about ten centuries ago. The Temple is built on a high octagonal plinth approached by a flight of steps. Later return back to the houseboat. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at houseboat

Day 6 : SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM (97 Km/4 Hours)

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam en-route visit saffron fields and Awantipura ruins, an 1100 years old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, a definite place of utmost peace and tranquility for all devotees to enjoy the spiritual presence of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, who are also known as the two prime presiding deities of the Awantipura Temple. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 : IN PAHALGAM

After breakfast, admire the beauty of this quiet place and be in awe of the serene surroundings. We drive to visit Chandanwari (2,895 m), 16 km from Pahalgam, is on fairly flat terrain surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation. Later proceed for a trip to Aru Valley- Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahalgam noted for its scenic meadows, and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder River. If you are an avid nature lover, you may take a pleasure in a peaceful walk along the River Lidder. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 : PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR (97 Km/4 Hours)

After breakfast, take a leisure drive to Srinagar, en-route visit interesting sights in the vicinity of Anantnag, the ruins of Martand where three structures devoted to the sun were built. Although some record date them as belonging to the 8th century, according to Kakhana they were erected from 370 to 500 AD, making this arguably the oldest temple site in Kashmir. The sun was worshipped here till the end of the 14th century when its image was destroyed. Arrive in Srinagar and Check in to your houseboat. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel

Day 9 : SRINAGAR – GULMARG (52 Km/2 Hours)

After breakfast, depart for Gulmarg known as the “Meadow of Flowers”. It lies at the altitude of 9500 feet above sea level, it boast of one of the highest natural golf course in the world, and has the best skiing slopes in the country. Take a ride on Gondola a cable car to Khilanmarg 2.5 kms lies (10500 feet above sea level) on clear day a breathtaking view of Kashmir with Pir Panjal Range, Harmukh, Kohlia as well as Nanga Parbat Mountain on India Pakistan border can be seen. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : GULMARG – SRINAGAR (52 Km/2 Hours)

After leisurely breakfast, depart for Srinagar. Upon arrival check-in houseboat. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel

Day 11 : SRINAGAR – SONAMARG (82 Km/4 Hours)

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. The drive through this valley presents a spectacular facet of the Kashmir countryside. Sonamarg also called “Meadow of Gold” is located at a height of 2690 meters, lies at the head of the Sindh valley. Sonamarg had historical significance and was a gateway on ancient Silk Road along with Gilgit connecting Kashmir with China and other Gulf countries. Sonamarg is also called the “Gate of Ladakh” since it is surrounded by high mountains and dense pine forests. There are attractive walks and option of pony ride to the Thajiwas glacier. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel

 

Day 12 : SONAMARG – SRINAGAR (82 Km/4 Hours)

After leisurely breakfast, depart for Srinagar. Upon arrival check-in houseboat. Rest of the day is free at leisure or last moment shopping. Overnight at hotel

Day 13 : SRINAGAR – DELHI

After a leisurely breakfast, check out at hotel and drive to airport to catch your flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi meet and transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 14 : DELHI – DEPARTURE

After breakfast, we check-out hotel and transfer you to Delhi International Airport for your flight back to home.
